Diabetic Clinic
This is run by the practice nurse in conjunction with the doctors, by appointment only.
Family Planning
Contraceptive care is provided by all the doctors and the practice nurse during normal surgery hours.
We have the Sexual Health Clinic based within the surgery every Wednesday from 12-8pm. Please contact them on 03000085522.
Flu Vaccination
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing homes. Please contact the surgery in September for details of vaccination dates and to make an appointment.
Immunisation Clinic
This is run by the practice nurse, by appointment only. We also run COVID clinics inhouse.
Non-NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please ask at reception for the charges for these services when making your appointment or see our list of private fees.
Frailty Checks
Senior patients are provided with a named GP at the practice who will oversee their care. This does not affect you seeing any GP in the practice. You will be invited to attend an appointment and create a personalised care plan with the Doctor or Nurse. It is hoped by doing this we can ensure your health, wellbeing and quality of life is maintained. You should be seen annually either by your doctor, the practice nurse, district nurse or health visitor. This can be arranged at the surgery or, if that is not possible, a home visit will be arranged.
Well Woman Clinics
This clinic is run by the practice nurse for smears and discussions on women's health issues
NHS Health Checks
We do checks for patients between the ages of 40-74.
